About Metel - Horror Escape
Metel - Horror Escape is a first-person horror puzzle game built on a tight escape-room premise. You wake up locked in a metal cage in an abandoned house deep in a forest, owned by a maniac with explicit intentions for you. The game gives you three attempts to escape, and the maniac is patrolling.
The escape mechanics force discipline. Every time the maniac approaches the cage, he checks whether you're inside and inspects the room for signs of tampering. If he finds anything — a box you opened, a door you forgot to close — he punishes you by sending electric current through the metal cage. Successful escape requires solving puzzles outside the cage and returning to hide every trace before he comes back. Direct confrontation is not survivable.
The campaign spans four levels, each from a different victim's perspective, with the larger story explaining how the situation started and what the maniac is doing. The atmosphere leans into the genre's silent-corridor heritage with deliberately tense audio design and the kind of pacing that makes every door you open feel like a roll of the dice.
