About Outpath
Outpath is a strange and tidy hybrid that sits between an idle clicker and a base-building automation game like Satisfactory or Forager, but plays as a first-person platformer. You stand on a small island, harvest the trees and ore around you, and slowly turn raw clicks into a chain of crafting stations that produce more interesting things on your behalf. When the current island is tapped out, you buy the next one and start expanding outward.
The loop is the appeal. Gather resources by hand, craft tools that gather them faster, build machines that craft for you, attach those machines to other machines until your starting island is mostly automated. Skill levels unlock new blueprints as you go. Fishing fits in alongside. Parkour movement lets you traverse islands the way a 3D platformer would, which makes navigating a built-up base feel like part of the game rather than an interruption.
There's no clock and no fail state. Active play and idle play both work — leave the game running while you do something else and the base keeps producing, or sit down and micromanage the whole network manually. The music reacts to what you're doing, which is a small touch that does a lot to keep long sessions feeling pleasant.
A handful of secrets are tucked away in the stylized world for players who want them. The whole package is unhurried and oddly meditative — the kind of game that doesn't demand attention but tends to get a lot of it anyway.
