About Pacific Drive
Pacific Drive is a first-person survival game built around driving, with your car as your one companion. You navigate a dreamlike take on the Pacific Northwest and confront supernatural dangers inside the Olympic Exclusion Zone, an abandoned research site walled off after experimental technologies brought radiation, environmental collapse and worse.
Every excursion into the wilderness throws up strange, unfamiliar challenges. Between trips you return to an abandoned garage that serves as your home base, repairing and upgrading your wagon, swapping in mods and parts to handle the terrain ahead. Gas tank full and panels intact, you scavenge resources and collect data, since the most useful materials sit in the most dangerous places.
The Zone is alive with anomalies, silhouettes in the dark, drifting heaps of scrap, towering pillars of earth, and worse still are the Zone Storms, rolling maelstroms that tear the landscape apart and destroy anything that lingers. Stomp the gas and outrun them. As you piece together what the secretive ARDA organization left behind, an original score by Wilbert Roget, II and more than 20 licensed songs play you through the drive.
