Paleo Pines

Paleo Pines sets up an alternate-evolution timeline where humans and dinosaurs share an island peacefully. Your protagonist arrives with Lucky, a parasaurolophus you've known since she hatched, on a journey to find her missing kind. The island's quirky townsfolk welcome you with curiosity, work and friendship requests, and the dinosaur ranching becomes the central life-sim loop.

Dino befriending uses a flute to mimic species-specific calls, followed by tasty treats and trustworthy nose boops to gain trust. Each dino has unique conditions for appearing and unique farming skills once tamed. Build cozy pens that match their preferences, and they'll help you grow the highest-quality produce on the island.

The ranch supports deep creative expression. Square pens or none, romantic gardens, witchy aesthetics, or full-on rows of tilled soil. Character customization spans wardrobe items found in different biomes. Eight or so distinct island regions (Veridian Valley, Ariacotta and others) each carry unique landscapes, foragables and dinos. Mod Time Studios developed the project with explicit cozy-game design priorities throughout.
