Scavenger SV-4

Scavenger SV-4 strands you alone on your ship, in orbit above an undiscovered alien planet. The windswept surface below is a radioactive wasteland and the orbital radiation alone is dangerous; landing yourself would kill you in seconds even through a suit. The rover drone is your only way down, and the weak signal means the video feed comes back grainy with static.

Pilot the rover across the surface, through derelict structures and the remains of alien machinery (long dead, or perhaps just dormant). Bring back samples, research them in the science lab, and use what you find to enhance the rover for deeper expeditions. Figure out what happened here while you fill your cargo hold with priceless artifacts.

Each new game generates a different protagonist with a different story and unknown mysteries on a fresh planet. Genre-defiant in mix: part simulator, part roguelike, with elements of action, combat, resource management, and a dash of horror. Bad things sometimes happen to lone explorers far from home.
