About SharpShooter3D
SharpShooter3D wears its influences plainly — boomer-shooter geometry, sprite-flat enemies, color palettes drawn from the late-90s Build engine era. The studio behind it leans into a deliberately subcultural register: marginalized characters, corrupt politicians, ordinary tourists pulled into something far stranger than their itinerary promised.
The setup sends the heroes on a trip to the fictional country of South-Slovenko, where the friendship goes wrong, the friend becomes the enemy, and the player ends up cast as the main villain of the unfolding nightmare. An ancient evil is waking somewhere underneath all of it, and the question of who's responsible is left for the gunfire to answer.
The whole package runs on the sensibilities of a particular kind of cult shooter — short, loud, deliberately ugly in places, and unapologetic about what it's parodying. Bullet velocity, weapon feedback, and arena pacing sit closer to the 1996 vintage than to any modern reinterpretation.
