Tunguska The Visitation

Tunguska: The Visitation is a single-player top-down shooter RPG set in an abandoned Soviet exclusion zone. You step into the Zone with a pistol, a flashlight and a roll of bandages, seeking fortune as a Ghoul Hunter while surviving deadly radiation, mysterious anomalies and poisonous mutants. You can go in guns blazing or stay in the shadows; the Zone rewards cunning as much as courage.

Combat draws on an arsenal of Soviet-era firearms and melee weapons, with room to set ambushes, sneak through shadows and distract enemies. Survival means managing food, medicine, radiation, infection and a grid-based backpack with weight and capacity limits. Crafting and ghoul hunting let you harvest herbs, hunt animals and gather mutant body parts to brew serums, cook food, upgrade weapons and repair gear. Ravaged villages, toxic swamps and abandoned bunkers hold journals, side-quests and mysteries born of the 1908 Tunguska Event.

Inspired by the novel Roadside Picnic, the game is one developer's vision of a post-Visitation zone, a place of horror and danger but also of freedom and opportunity. This Final Cut delivers a major graphics upgrade, new weapons and crafting options, native controller and Steam Deck support, and emergent events, with standout features including 12 skills and 72 perks, goal-oriented enemy AI, a real-time day-night cycle and weather that changes your tactics.
