Unforeseen Incidents

Unforeseen Incidents is a classically styled interactive mystery set in a richly hand-painted world. When small-town handyman Harper Pendrell meets a dying woman in the street, he stumbles into a diabolical conspiracy, a mystery only he seems able to solve.

An unknown disease is spreading across the country, and the key to stopping it lies with a scientist, a reporter and a reclusive artist. Following that trail draws Harper, armed with little more than his trusty multi-tool, into the path of a cabal of dangerous fanatics and, before long, into a fight for the future of humankind, one he may not survive without catching the contagion himself.

The adventure plays out across more than 60 lovingly hand-painted 2D backgrounds, with challenging puzzles, smart dialogue, a rich cast of characters, an elaborately arranged soundtrack and full English or German voice acting. It comes from Backwoods Entertainment and Application Systems Heidelberg.
