Universe For Sale

Universe for Sale is a hand-drawn adventure game set in the dense clouds of Jupiter, in a ramshackle space station bazaar where sapient orangutans work as dockhands and mysterious cultists strip the flesh from their bones to reach enlightenment. A young, worried woman named Lila crafts entire universes in the palm of her hand, and one rainy night a nameless master arrives intrigued by stories of her ability.

The gameplay loop sells universes. Choose a cup, find some ingredients, and Lila crafts a universe down to the customer's particular specifications. For something so awe-inspiring, she explains it the way someone might explain how to brew coffee. The conversations around each transaction unwrap the bigger mystery, and the master is not the only one curious about what she can do.

Explore rickety tea houses, strange oddity shops, and overworked mechanics garages across the abandoned-mine shantytown. Every new face (human, simian, skeletal, or robotic) has a unique story as they survive the acid rain. The picturesque infamous colony provides the backdrop for an adventure that threatens to unravel the mystery at the heart of Universe for Sale.
