World War Z

World War Z is a heart-pounding co-op third-person shooter for up to four players, built around swarms of hundreds of zombies and fast-paced, gruesomely spectacular action. Based on the Paramount Pictures film, it follows new storylines from around the world as humanity stands on the brink of extinction, from New York to Moscow to Jerusalem.

The Swarm Engine renders huge hordes that behave like real crowds, getting stuck in narrow corridors and climbing on top of each other to reach players on higher ground. As you progress, hordes grow harder to defeat and start acting like single-entity bosses, while advanced gore systems make every firefight satisfyingly grim.

Story-driven co-op campaigns send unique groups across the globe, and you can level up to eight distinct classes, Gunslinger, Hellraiser, Slasher, Medic, Fixer, Exterminator, Dronemaster, and the Vanguard added in Aftermath, each with its own perks and playstyle. Deep progression unlocks powerful weapon upgrades, and several PvPvZ modes pit players against each other and the dead.
