Atari 50 The Anniversary Celebration

Atari 50: The Anniversary Celebration is Digital Eclipse's interactive journey through 50 years of Atari history. Interactive Timelines combine historical trivia, digital artifacts, over 60 minutes of new interviews with designers and industry leaders, documentary footage, product design documents, and high-res original artwork. Encountering a game in the Timelines lets you play it immediately without losing your place.

The playable game selection spans 90+ titles across seven Atari platforms: Arcade, 2600, 5200, 7800, Atari 8-bit computers, and (for the first time on modern consoles) the cult-favorite Atari Lynx and Jaguar. Classics like Tempest 2000, Asteroids, and Yars' Revenge sit alongside deeper cuts that haven't been re-released in decades.

Six new Reimagined games are included: Swordquest: AirWorld, completing the Swordquest series 40 years after the original's mysteries; Haunted Houses, a 3D voxel sequel to the Atari 2600 survival horror original; VCTR-SCTR, mashing up vector-era classics into one continuous experience; Neo Breakout, combining Breakout and Pong for two-player competition; Quadratank, the first new Tank entry since 1978 with four-player support; and Yars' Revenge Reimagined with swappable original/modern graphics.
