About Christmas Massacre
Christmas Massacre is an 80s-style stealth slasher rendered in deliberately crusty PS1-era graphics. Larry's Christmas tree has been telling him to kill, and you guide his rampage through suburban houses, holiday gatherings and other festive locations. The catch: you have to kill every required target without ever being seen.
Levels operate as small stealth puzzles. Map out patrol routes, identify hiding spots, time approaches around line-of-sight cones, deploy distractions, dispatch targets without alerting others. Multiple masks and costumes unlock as you progress, and the slasher conventions are played in arcade style rather than survival horror: fast forward button, clear failure states, restartable runs.
Torture Star Video, the studio behind Bloodwash and other PS1-aesthetic horror shorts, leans hard into 80s slasher film conventions throughout. First and third-person camera modes let you pick the perspective. Gore is drenched and intentionally pixelated, the score throbs synth-heavy, and the framing question of whether Larry's tree is telling the truth runs through to the credits.
