Crysis Remastered brings back Crytek's classic first-person shooter, keeping its action-driven gameplay, sandbox world and large-scale battles while upgrading the graphics for modern hardware. What starts as a straightforward rescue mission turns into the front line of a new war when alien invaders descend on the Lingshan island chain.

The defining tool is the Nanosuit, which lets players turn invisible to stalk enemy patrols or boost their strength to tear apart vehicles. Its speed, strength, armor and cloaking open creative solutions to every fight, and a large arsenal of modular weaponry, ranging from experimental to alien designs, gives players unusual control over how they play.

The environment is constantly shifting, demanding that players adapt their tactics and gear across battlefields that run from frozen jungle to alien interiors, including zero-gravity zones. Lifelike enemy AI rewards a strategic, flexible approach, and the open world invites players to pick their own path, destroying obstacles, driving vehicles and turning the surroundings against their enemies.
