Darksiders Genesis

Darksiders Genesis offers the first look at the world of Darksiders before the events of the original game. Since the dawn of creation, the Council has maintained the Balance across existence, carrying out its orders through the Horsemen, Nephilim granted immense power, a power that came at a tragic cost when they were ordered to wipe out the rest of their own kind on Eden.

Still reeling from Eden, War and Strife receive a new assignment: Lucifer, the deceptive demon king, has been plotting to upset the Balance by granting power to master demons throughout Hell. War and Strife must hunt those masters down, gather information and fight through a tangled demonic conspiracy that threatens to unravel all of creation.

The game is an action-adventure that tears through hordes of demons and angels with guns blazing and swords swinging. It introduces Strife, the fourth and final horseman, playable for the first time, and you can instantly swap between the gunslinging Strife and the swordsman War in frenetic single-player gameplay, or wreak havoc with a friend in two-player co-op, also a series first. A brand-new story campaign explores the origin of the Seven Seals, and you grow in strength by collecting items, abilities, weapon enhancements and creature cores.
