About Enjoy the Diner
Enjoy the Diner is a short adventure game where you wander into the Moon Palace, an eternal diner under a full moon, and find yourself among its other late-night customers. The game uses a multiple-choice format with point-and-click elements and runs about 2 to 2.5 hours per playthrough. There are two different endings, and the moment when the story diverges is recognizable — saving before the fateful decision is recommended.
The Steam version is a complete port to a different engine (Godot to Unity), which means the entire game has been rebuilt under the hood. Controller support and full-screen play are now both available alongside mouse input. New chit-chats with other Moon Palace customers have been added across the experience, expanding the small-talk side of the diner.
Completing the game with a certain ending unlocks new gallery perks. A Sound Gallery lets you revisit the audio of the diner; an Illustration Gallery includes character descriptions not found in the main game, contributed by creator Gekkan Shicchitai (Oississui). The sounds used in the game are also sold separately as a downloadable soundtrack for anyone who wants to take the music home.
Steam Achievements have been added, including a thorough one for trying every drink at the drink fountain. The developer asks that streamers avoid putting endgame spoilers in thumbnails and that they not include gallery mode in their video — a generous rule that supports the small game's specific reveals while letting most of the experience be shared freely.
