Figment

Figment is a musical action-adventure set in the recesses of the human mind. The setting is filled with thoughts, urges, and memories, populated by the many voices we hear in our heads. The mind has been quiet for years, but new thoughts have started to emerge as nightmarish creatures spreading fear wherever they go.

Dusty, the mind's former voice of courage, is grumpy and retired. He and his ever-optimistic friend Piper journey through different sides of the mind, solving puzzles, beating back nightmares, and seeking to restore the courage that has been lost. Sword combat, puzzle-solving, and epic musical boss battles combine into a varied set of challenges.

The presentation is built around traditionally hand-painted brushstrokes coming to life. Trumpet trees, piano houses, and singing enemies populate a rhythmic environment where your actions influence a dynamic soundtrack. The joyful Freedom Isles, radiant Clockwork Town, and ominous Pathways each carry distinct art styles within the same surreal world. An emotional journey that faces universal human fears head-on.
