Foretales

Foretales is a story-driven card game with a unique take on the adventure genre. A terrible curse is ravaging the realm, and the only one who can stop it is a small-time thief named Volepain. With a dark prophecy counting down to the apocalypse, it is up to you to decide how to use what little time is left.

The game blends card-based, turn-based combat with what it calls decksploration and a board-game feel, offering a multitude of playstyles and expansive branching storylines with multiple endings. To find a path to salvation, you must weigh what is best for you and your companions, choosing whether to save the world or bring about its end.

The story uncovers the true goals of the Nymphants, the Weaver's children, entrusted with the instruments of creation, and the Cult, with the chance to embrace the Maelstrom for eternity. It features a huge cast, superb artistic direction, an original score by Christophe Heral, and narration by Travis Willingham.
