Forza Horizon 5

Forza Horizon 5 is the fifth entry in Playground Games' open-world arcade-racing series, this time built around a fictionalised version of Mexico. The map spans living deserts, dense jungles, colonial cities, hidden ruins, beaches, canyons, and a snow-capped volcano — environments stitched together as one continuous drivable world.

The career takes the form of the Horizon Festival, a roving motorsport carnival, with Horizon Story missions, Expeditions, and event chains that let you choose outcomes and unlock new festival sites. Weekly seasonal shifts change weather, surface conditions, and event lineups across the map.

Hundreds of licensed cars are available, from classic muscle to modern hypercars, with deep visual and mechanical tuning — including small flourishes like opening convertible tops and painting brake calipers. EventLab lets players build their own races, stunts, and game modes from scratch, and the Horizon Arcade strings together drop-in mini-event chains for online play with no menus or lobbies.

Developed by Playground Games, published by Xbox Game Studios. Cross-platform play across PC and Xbox, with Horizon Open and Tours for casual online sessions and a Gift Drops system for sharing tuning setups and EventLab creations.
