Girl Genius Adventures In Castle Heterodyne

Girl Genius: Adventures In Castle Heterodyne is an action-adventure based on the award-winning gaslamp fantasy comic by Phil and Kaja Foglio. It promises action, romance and mad science as you experience Agatha Heterodyne's story, navigating the hostile hallways, catacombs and kitchens of her ancestral home, Castle Heterodyne.

As the lost heir to a mad family, Agatha must restore the ancient fortress to its former glory and ascend the throne as a true Heterodyne, so she can stand against the Wulfenbach Empire and other power-hungry usurpers. First, though, she has to contend with the castle's corrupted, insane AI, its spiky death traps and bottomless doom-pits, and the painfully pink Zola Heterodyne, who may be another lost child or just another villain.

You build tools like the Grapple Gun and Wrencherang at the Workbench and use them to explore, fight foes in melee combat or with explosive gadgets, and solve the castle's challenges. A trusty Dingbot minion reaches places Agatha cannot, solving lock puzzles and operating the castle's machinery, and as Agatha's power over the castle grows she can command its AI to release traps on her enemies. A unique Build System rebuilds scrap traps into objects like the Springclank and Rollerclank for creative spatial puzzle solving, and you can read the Girl Genius graphic novels right inside the game.
