Hobo Tough Life

Hobo: Tough Life is an urban survival role-playing game in which you play a homeless person on the streets of Praslav, a cold Central European city recovering from the political turmoil that followed the fall of communism. Unable to adapt to the new socio-economic climate, you find yourself with nowhere to go.

You keep an eye on needs that interact in realistic ways: staying warm, dry, and fed is not enough, since poor hygiene makes you smellier, cold raises the risk of illness, and whatever food you eat must eventually come out. You decide how far you will go to survive, stealing, burgling, consorting with criminals, or taking what you need by force, though consequences are often severe. You also spend the last days of autumn gathering supplies, since every day is colder than the last.

Unlike many survival games, Hobo leans heavily on story, with dozens of storylines inspired by real events: you solve quests, meet unique NPCs, join factions, and find your place in the streets. You can construct your own hideout from walls, roofs, and scavenged furniture, and play alone or in online co-op for up to four players. The vacant throne of the Homeless King awaits whoever can unite the city's homeless.
