Icewind Dale Enhanced Edition

Icewind Dale: Enhanced Edition refreshes the 2000 Black Isle Studios classic for current systems. Beamdog handled the upgrade: scaled-up interface, modernized controls, cross-platform multiplayer for Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and iOS, dozens of bug fixes and a quick-loot bar. The 2D isometric art remains untouched in its essential form, with real-time-with-pause combat under 2nd Edition Dungeons & Dragons rules.

The content is unusually complete for an enhanced edition. The original campaign, the Heart of Winter expansion, the Trials of the Luremaster expansion, and quest content cut from the 2000 release are all included. The Spine of the World setting in Forgotten Realms' frozen north hosts the entire adventure, with the party of up to six heroes you build from scratch confronting an evil scheming beneath the glaciers.

Over 30 new character kits and adventuring classes expand party-building options. Dozens of new spells and gear add new magical armor and weaponry. Characters can be uploaded from previous playthroughs of the original Baldur's Gate Enhanced Editions to continue parties across Infinity Engine games.
