Japanese Rail Sim: Journey to Kyoto is a railway simulation game that lets you experience authentic railway operation with live-action footage and a realistically reproduced driver's seat. Anyone can enjoy the feeling of being a train driver simply by operating the master controller and the brakes.

The game is set on the Eizan Train, a local line in the popular tourist destination of Kyoto, running from the city into the mountains and passing beautiful scenery, including the Maple Tunnel famous for its autumn leaves. High-quality, high-definition Full HD live-action video faithfully reproduces the atmosphere for a powerful sense of immersion. The Eizan Line and Kurama Line are both included, with up and down lines offering different gradients to enjoy repeatedly, and footage of both the fresh green season and autumn.

You can drive two of Eizan Railway's most popular trains, the panorama train Kirara and the sightseeing train Hiei. Many sightseeing spots line the route, including historic temples and shrines, and an included guidebook introduces the highlights. The game is optimized for PC with full keyboard, mouse and controller support, and is compatible with three screen sizes.
