Jenny LeClue - Detectivu

Jenny LeClue - Detectivu sets a young detective with a sharp eye for clues against the sleepy town of Arthurton, where her mother has just been accused of murder. The case becomes Jenny's first real chase for the truth, and the deeper she digs the less the town's idyllic surface holds up.

A metanarrative layer wraps the mystery. Author Arthur K Finklestein narrates Jenny's adventures and your choices shape the way he writes them - which can ripple back into Finklestein's own story too. The framing turns reading the book and solving the case into the same activity.

During dialogue scenes Jenny can look around the environment, picking up visible clues that betray a subject's guilt or innocence. The hand-drawn world has mid-century vintage aesthetics packed with secrets, and the cast spans helpful and suspicious characters across the abandoned mines, forgotten graveyard, Lake Noware and Gumboldt's Library. The game is the first half of a planned two-game arc, complete on its own but ending on a deliberate cliffhanger.
