About Last Train Outta' Wormtown
Last Train Outta' Wormtown is a chaotic asymmetrical multiplayer game built around one specific rule: the giant sandworm hunting players can only see them when they touch the ground. The cowboys trying to escape town have to treat the sand like hot lava — running, jumping, climbing, and using a variety of tools to stay off the ground while completing their objectives and getting outta' Wormtown.
Play as a Pardner and the gameplay loop is cooperative escape under pressure. Work with your fellow cowboys to complete the round's objectives. Touching the sand alerts the worm to your presence, so movement choices matter constantly. Run, jump, climb and use powerful tools to escape the treacherous environment — the kind of asymmetric multiplayer where staying alive depends on coordination and creativity in equal measure.
Play as the Worm and the perspective flips entirely. Feeling hungry? Stop those pesky pardners from leaving town. The worm has an arsenal of special abilities and can burrow underground at immense speed, so the cowboys won't be food for long if the player knows what they're doing. The asymmetry produces genuinely different gameplay experiences depending on which side you've drawn.
The Friend's Pass system is unusual and generous: only the host of the lobby needs to purchase the game, and all other players can join free. This makes Wormtown ideal for friend groups, game nights, and streamers wanting to play with their community. In-depth customization for both Pardners and Worm, 16-player lobbies, a public lobby browser, 100+ challenges with unlockable cosmetics (host-only), randomized map layouts ensuring unique rounds, festive themes, and fully customizable match settings round out the package.
