LUNARK

LUNARK is a pixel-art sci-fi adventure set on a distant planet ruled by a totalitarian regime, and a modern take on the 2D cinematic platformer genre of the '90s. You play Leo, a courier with unique abilities and a mysterious past, running, jumping, hanging, climbing, rolling and shooting through gorgeously animated environments.

Those environments range from a dystopian megalopolis to eerie caves and an alien forest, and along the way you overcome traps, solve puzzles, earn upgrades and battle enemy droids. When you are not fighting for survival, you meet a cast of colorful characters who put Leo's allegiances to the test, gradually uncovering the dark origin of humanity's new home and the truth about yourself.

The game pairs precision gameplay with stunning animation and rotoscoped cutscenes, intuitive but versatile controls, and hidden upgrades that expand your health and weapon capabilities. It is a compelling story of survival, revolution and mystery, and yes, you can pet the dog and the cat.
