About Mass Effect Legendary Edition
Mass Effect Legendary Edition is the full Commander Shepard trilogy — Mass Effect 1, 2, and 3 — remastered into a single launcher with over 40 DLC episodes included. The package covers everything from Bring Down the Sky and Lair of the Shadow Broker through the Extended Cut and Citadel, along with the full slate of promo weapons, armor sets, and packs that originally shipped piecemeal.
The visual overhaul reaches into every game. 4K Ultra HD textures, enhanced models, shaders, lighting, depth of field, full-resolution audio, and HDR support across all three titles. The first Mass Effect gets the most substantial work — improved aiming, weapons balance, Mako vehicle handling, squad AI, cover behavior, and gameplay cameras — to bring it closer to the design language of the later two games without rewriting them entirely.
The character creator was unified across all three games, with improved hair, makeup, eye color, and skin tones. The iconic Femshep design from Mass Effect 3 is now selectable in all titles. PC modernization includes native controller support, 21:9 widescreen, UI improvements, and DirectX 11. Decisions carry seamlessly between games, with every choice rippling forward through the trilogy's interlocking relationships and battle outcomes.
