moon: Remix RPG Adventure is the now-legendary 1997 Japanese anti-RPG, finally available on Steam in English under the watchful eye of its original creators. Have you ever felt it odd that RPG heroes open villagers' closets to steal from them, or indiscriminately kill all monsters they meet? moon looks at the RPGs we all know from a new perspective.

One moonlit night, a young boy is sucked into his television set while playing a video game. He falls into Moon World, where the mighty hero is murdering innocent animals for experience points. The boy's growth instead comes from saving the souls of those animals and gathering the love in the world. You level up by loving, not fighting. Catch the souls of pitiful creatures left in the hero's wake and save them.

Moon World's inhabitants live unique daily routines depending on time and day: florists go to work in the morning, castle guards arrive at their posts, some folks have secret midnight hobbies, others spend their days fishing. Observe their lives and learn where they hide their love. The MD (Moon Disc) system lets you choose your own soundtrack by sequencing tracks you've collected, listening as you walk the map.
