Ninja Issen (忍者一閃)

Ninja Issen is a retro-style ninja platformer paying homage to the ninja games of the 8-16 bit era. The cyberpunk city brought to life with retro graphics fills with ninjas, robots, neon lights, and dark atmosphere across the streets of a future metropolis. You play Kiba, a rogue ninja falsely accused of assassinating his clan's grand master, fighting through the new world he never knew existed.

The gameplay revolves around 1-vs-many battles where you must use everything to survive. Kiba's katana handles close combat, shuriken serve long-range attack and projectile deflection, and a teleport mechanic activates by throwing the katana to the target spot. Combine weapons and skills to create your own fighting style across the future metropolis.

Each stage ends with a boss featuring unique patterns and gimmicks. When a boss's HP drops below a threshold, Phase 2 unlocks new and fiercer attack patterns; destroying parts of certain bosses changes the pattern further. Hyper ninja action carries every encounter, with diverse attack patterns demanding adaptation from the player rather than memorization.
