September 7th

September 7th is a short psychological horror walking simulator released for Christmas. The setup leans deliberately straightforward: graduate student Dima and his parents move into a new apartment on September 7th, and a few weeks later he receives a funny Christmas Elf doll as a gift. With the doll's appearance, strange things begin to happen in the house.

The game asks whether you believe in the existence of Christmas elves: not just good ones but evil ones, the kind that create madness and visit when they get bored. They watch you and test you, or maybe they just want fun. Will you play by their rules?

Average completion time is around 40 minutes. The plot is deliberately simple, the gameplay isn't drawn out, and the experience leans toward atmospheric dread over scripted scares. Some Easter eggs and references hide in the apartment for the observant. The game takes place in 2009.
