Spirit Island

Spirit Island is a cooperative area-control strategy game set in an alternate-history world circa 1700. Players take the role of elemental spirits defending their home from European Invaders, working alongside the native Dahan to push the colonists out before blight consumes the land.

The digital version contains the full tabletop base game by R. Eric Reuss: 8 Spirits with unique Power decks, 36 Minor and 22 Major Power cards, modular and thematic island boards, three multi-tier Adversaries (Brandenburg-Prussia, England, Sweden), four optional Scenarios, and the Fear and Blight systems that shape each match.

Matches scale from 1 to 4 Spirits, with island size adjusting to the player count. Over 78,000 game configurations are possible, and the rules engine is exact enough to function as a reference for tabletop players.

Dynamic music by Jean-Marc Giffin shifts with each Spirit. Multiple board renderings — 3D textured, 3D classic, 2D top-down — and cross-platform online multiplayer. DLC includes Branch & Claw, Jagged Earth, Horizons, two Promo Packs, and the rolling release of Nature Incarnate.
