Star Renegades

Star Renegades opens with a service robot named J5T-1N arriving in your dimension to warn of doom from an overwhelming force called the Imperium. From there you fight for survival across a procedurally generated, mission-based campaign, leaning on a tactical turn-based battle system built around interrupts and counters.

The opposition is not static. An intelligent Adversary system fields enemy officers who evolve, climb the ranks and grow into unique bosses as you play, so the resistance you face keeps adapting to you. When your band of heroes is finally overwhelmed and hope runs out, J5T-1N carries everything you have learned into the next dimension, giving a new group of heroes a fresh chance to win.

Every run and every dimension is distinct. The Reactive Time Battle System rewards interrupts, counters and combos, surviving squad members form bonds and produce progeny that unlock dozens of alternate characters, and a Rebellion Engine drives emergent events, shifting priorities, evolving enemies and a steady stream of equipment and upgrades.
