Super Trench Attack!

Super Trench Attack! is an intentionally silly twitch-shooter set in a goofball alternate-history World War. The Dastardly Black Army has invaded the homeland, and the player is a single recruit with an eye for headshots and a boot for kicking enemies, somehow standing between them and total victory.

The unique targeting system can lock onto specific body parts (yes, including footshots), which becomes a viable tactic against armored enemies. Sixteen missions vary the structure (giant bosses, shooting galleries, traditional ground engagements) and four large open areas hide secrets to find while you're between objectives. A Buddy AI character sometimes watches your back, sometimes does the opposite.

Four shops sell unique items, weapons and traps, opening different combat approaches. The game runs at a smooth 60fps with full controller support, and resolution options stretch from 33+ presets including 8:5 and 16:9 widescreen. Twenty-four Steam achievements and leaderboards track score-attack performance for anyone wanting more than just the silly story.
