The Cave

The Cave is an adventure game from Monkey Island and Maniac Mansion creator Ron Gilbert and Double Fine Productions (Psychonauts, Brütal Legend). Assemble a team of three from seven unlikely adventurers, each with their own personalities and dark secret reasons for descending the cave, then explore a seamless cave-world presented in astounding cross-section.

The Cave is no ordinary cavern. Your first clue is the subterranean amusement park, then a medieval castle, then a fully armed and ready-to-launch nuclear-tipped ICBM. The seven characters (including the Hillbilly and the Time Traveller) each bring unique special talents to specific puzzles, so your trio selection shapes both story and gameplay.

Switch between three characters in cooperation with each other to solve physical and adventure puzzles, learning the truth behind why each is descending. Share the adventure with friends in local co-op. Replay with different sets of characters for entirely different stories, puzzles, and areas, including hidden treasures and collectables across all the unique paths.
