Tower Unite

Tower Unite is a virtual world party game built around the Plaza — a multiplayer hub that gives access to 5 game buildings (arcade, casino, bowling, laser tag, more) and a long list of standalone games including Minigolf, Accelerate (kart racing), Ball Race (ball physics platformer), Virus (FPS), Zombie Massacre (co-op top-down shooter), and others. The whole thing runs without microtransactions or subscription fees, with every content update free.

The arcade carries over 30 unique games with multiplayer support. The casino covers slot machines, horse betting, roulette, bingo, blackjack, poker, and other gambling games. The condo system lets players build and customize their own personal spaces with over 3,000 unique interactive items, place images directly from the internet (synced across players), import custom furniture, watch synchronized YouTube or SoundCloud media, and host parties with friends.

Customization runs unusually deep. Workshop integration lets players import custom models and avatars. Playable instruments support full MIDI. Custom levels for minigolf, Accelerate, and Virus can be shared globally. Pet cats, dogs, fish, and watermelons. Libretro-based emulator support lets you build custom arcades around classic console games. The whole project is the kind of living, ever-expanding hub that rewards repeated returns over years rather than single-session play.
