Vigil The Longest Night

Vigil The Longest Night follows Leila of the Vigilant Order through a town and world where daylight has vanished. The mystery of her missing sister and the cult-like Shimmer's Faith winds through every region, with eldritch horrors emerging from the eternal night as both threat and storyteller.

Combat takes cues from Salt and Sanctuary and Castlevania. Swords, axes, daggers and bows all carry their own movesets, supplemented by arcane abilities and throwables. Unarmed combat is a legitimate option, and the enchant and forge systems let you craft equipment tuned to your preferred style.

The world opens out from Maye town into broad exploration of dungeons and hidden zones, with distinctive NPCs to befriend and rare gear to chase. Over a hundred monster types and nearly twenty boss encounters - from humanoid duels to giant set pieces - keep the combat varied across a long campaign.
