Alluris

Alluris is a card-swiping adventure that begins on the roads outside the city of the same name, where Baron Dread is amassing an army and nobody local can be bothered to stop him. That, naturally, becomes your problem.

You play with a single simple input, dragging cards left or right, but the decisions behind those swipes are rarely simple. The options available for handling any situation depend on your backstory, race, gender, or a choice you made earlier in the run. Your goal is to travel the world, level up, and collect items, followers and abilities until you can overcome Baron Dread and save Alluris.

Exploration feeds into the long game. Clever play can unlock new races and backgrounds to begin future runs with, and these mutators can radically change a playthrough, making you terrible in combat but constantly showered with gold, or starting you somewhere it would normally take an entire run to reach. However you play, you tend to walk away with a few crazy stories.
