Beat Blast

Beat Blast fuses bullet hell, dungeon crawling, roguelite structure and a music maker into one game. Its central idea is that the music you create becomes your abilities, since at the heart of every run is a looping beat that you can tweak at any time to completely change the rhythm of the gameplay.

The setting is the MIDIverse, a virus-ridden technical realm where music takes physical form. You fight through it against big bosses, unlock tons of items, and combine abilities to support hundreds of different play styles, all while trying to escape. Because the soundtrack of each run is something you build yourself, no two runs ever sound or play the same way.

For players who want more challenge, weekly high score and speedrun competitions let you test your skills, and your songs, against others.
