Condemned Criminal Origins

Condemned: Criminal Origins is a first-person horror game about what twists an ordinary person into a serial killer. You play Ethan Thomas, an FBI agent of the Serial Crimes Unit whose solve rate is the best in the bureau, perhaps too good.

Investigating a growing list of killers, Thomas concludes that something is warping the bodies and souls of the people society has abandoned: the homeless, the addicted and the deranged are rising from the city's underbelly in mindless violence. When he is framed for the murder of two police officers, solving the killings becomes the only way to stop them and clear his own name.

Gameplay splits between investigation and survival. You use sharp instincts and forensic tools to examine crime scenes, collect evidence and chase clues, but danger waits in every shadow. Ammunition is scarce, so when the bullets run out you fight with whatever you can pry loose, whether a fire axe, a shovel, a pipe or a two-by-four, to push past whoever, or whatever, is behind the city's grisly killings.
