About Cyber Hook
Cyber Hook is a fast 3D platformer built around momentum, hooks and ledges. You run, wall-ride, leap and grappling-hook your way through neon retrowave levels suspended over emptiness, with a laser gun for the blocks and enemies that would otherwise stop the run. One missed jump kills you; one well-placed hook saves a sequence that should never have worked.
The toolset is intentionally narrow: parkour movement, a grappling hook that latches onto blocks, a laser pistol, and a time-warp button that lets you rewind out of an obvious death. The depth comes from chaining those four tools together — designers expect players to abuse the physics in ways that break the level designer's intended path, and the leaderboards make it explicit that breaking the route is the route.
Over seventy levels ship at launch, organized into a campaign and several Marathon variants. Full-game Marathon runs every level back-to-back without pausing the clock. Per-world and monthly Marathons keep the leaderboards rotating. Watching other players' runs is built into the same screen, which makes the loop of trying one more time easy to lose hours inside.
