Settlemoon

Settlemoon is an old-school idle game in which you nurture a small sidescrolling settlement. After the moon vanished, the fantasy world lies abandoned in darkness, and your task is to relight the skies and offer adventurers a place to rest. The town grows in real time, pulling in visitors, letting you trade materials and goods, and posting quests for adventurers.

It asks for a relaxed kind of commitment: set things up and check in through the day to see who has arrived, or let the town run overnight. It keeps going even while the game is closed, free of fail states and free of constant micromanagement, so you can study its inner workings at your own pace and draw in odd visitors and powerful bosses to slowly reveal the mystery of the land.

Hundreds of decor pieces, paint colors and flooring options let you reshape the town to suit yourself and your guests. Every adventurer has a unique look, so you can name your favorites so they return, copy their style onto your own avatar, or simply fling them around, since they can take it. Charming pixel art and a retro-inspired soundtrack carry it all.
