Frostpunk 2

Frostpunk 2 pushes the city-survival genre further, casting you as a Steward who must guide a metropolis through one crisis after another in a frozen, post-apocalyptic world. The story unfolds three decades after the catastrophic blizzard, with Earth still locked in endless winter and expansion the only path left for humankind.

Growth means resources. The city runs on coal and oil while its people demand food and warmth, and balancing that constant cycle of supply and need falls to you. As the population swells, so does the difficulty of keeping everyone content, and a Heat Management system with a detailed temperature overlay helps decide which districts receive precious warmth, backed by new research and heat-focused laws.

Politics complicate everything. Each faction inside the Council Hall carries its own ideology and ambitions, united only by a hunger for power, so choosing allies wisely is essential. A multi-chapter campaign carries the weight of leadership across the Steward's life, while the open-ended Utopia Builder sandbox invites unlimited experimentation. The FrostKit modding suite lets players craft their own maps, models and scenarios.
