SanctuaryRPG: Black Edition holds an unusual distinction as the world's first fully-ASCII game to release on Steam, presenting its entire world through procedurally generated text-mode artwork. The framework is a humorous turn-based dungeon crawler heavily inspired by both classic Roguelikes and Japanese RPGs, with a robust action-RPG-influenced combat system underneath the text-based presentation.
