Solium Infernum

Solium Infernum is a grand strategy game of politics, intrigue and betrayal set in the ultimate arena, Hell. Satan has mysteriously vanished and Hell is in uproar, and you play one of eight all-powerful Archfiends competing to be crowned its new Dark Majesty.

This is a genuinely political strategy game. You command infernal legions, enlist champion Praetors, cast sinister rituals and acquire dark artifacts, but you also rob, trick, insult and make demands of your rivals on the floor of Hell's parliament. Every order carries lasting consequences, and victory depends on getting inside your opponents' heads and second-guessing their moves both on the map and in the politicking.

The game offers eight playable Archfiends, eight single-player Chronicles, a skirmish mode and a tutorial scenario, plus two-to-six-player multiplayer in both sessional and scheme-in-your-sleep asynchronous forms. A reimagining of Vic Davis's cult-classic original by League of Geeks, the studio behind Armello, it draws inspiration from Milton's Paradise Lost and pairs its harrowing decisions with striking hand-painted infernal artwork.
