Stories: The Path of Destinies is an action RPG set in a vibrant fairytale universe of floating islands, majestic airships and colorful magic. Reynardo, an ex-pirate and unintentional hero, suddenly becomes the last line of defense against a mad Emperor and his countless ravens, and for once he needs a plan that does not blow up in his face.

The game works like an enchanted storybook narrated by a zippy voice attuned to your choices. Each decision sends Reynardo into a unique narrative, ranging from tongue-in-cheek heroic adventures to dark, Lovecraftian scenes. The choices are not easy: retrieving a weapon lost at the beginning of time might mean sacrificing an old friend. With so many possible dire destinies, the real trick is learning to come back in time, learn from mistakes and find the one true path.

Combat is fluid and fast, blending acrobatic swordplay, grab attacks and special abilities, while a deep skill tree unlocks powers such as the Hookshot and Time Mastery. You craft and upgrade an arsenal of magic-infused swords, all wrapped in charming hand-drawn illustrations and an original soundtrack that shifts dynamically with every choice. The game now runs on Unreal Engine 4.18 with improved graphics and performance.
