The Legend of The Sacred Stone EX

The Legend of The Sacred Stone EX is a classic action role-playing game adapted from the same-titled film by Pili International Multimedia, the studio behind the long-running Taiwanese puppet show tradition. The game launched alongside the film and adapts the story into action-RPG form, aiming to give players the immersive experience of the puppet-show source material in interactive form. Voice work is provided by Vincent Huang, a genius of eight categories of musical instrument in the Chinese ancient orchestra.

The campaign follows Su Huanjen alongside his teammates Qingyangzi, Ye Xiaochai, Luanshikuangdao and Jianjun Shi'ehen as they explore the Jianghu and reveal the evil fights and secrets of the martial world. Players interact with popular characters from the franchise including Aoxiao Hongchen, Yixiansheng and Qin Jiaxian. The story revolves around the Tianwenshi, a sacred stone representing both new technology and infinite power, sought by all parties — including unknown creatures — and the chaos that follows. Su Huanjen and his sworn brother Qingyangzi investigate the conspiracy together and put themselves in lethal danger doing so.

The EX edition includes over 27 minutes of HD remastered scenes from the original film, splendid martial-skill effects, customizable team composition allowing players to switch teammates during battles, smooth potion supply through batch stacking, sped-up movement at 200% in battlefields and 300% in safe zones, recreated classic skills like One Person Three Manifestations and Burning the Nine Heavens, new Eight Trigrams Maze Steps for Su Huanjen, a new map feature for navigation, and multiple hot keys for switching teammates, manual-auto modes, skills and items.
