Carpathian Night Starring Bela Lugosi is a classicvania horror platformer that casts Bela Lugosi once more as Prince Dracula. You fight across a countryside overrun by monsters, slip past lethal traps and drops, beat Dracula's lieutenants in one-on-one duels, and dig up the hidden past of the creatures you face.

The year is 1451, in Transylvania, and the contagion of Dracula's army keeps creeping across the Carpathians, swelling with every life it takes. Left unchecked, he will sink the world into endless night. Only two champions answer the call: Abbot Dorin, a warrior monk who heads the Kelemen Monastery, and Irina Dracul, a vampire and pyromancer descended from Prince Dracula's own line.

Together they drive back the Army of the Dead and hunt the legendary vampire, facing down zombies, werewolves, ghosts and every sort of demonic thing. Anyone who lives through the terrors of the Borgo Pass arrives at the gates of old Castle Dracula, and that is where the true nightmare opens up.
