Dead Signal

Dead Signal runs a night shift on the camSPY network: 85 million security cameras blanket the United States, more than half easily breached, and you work for a darknet organization called ViVEX run by 'The Shade'. Your job is to monitor 23 cameras, spot differences as they appear, select the appropriate report category, and meet an hourly quota or face termination.

It is not just monitoring. Connection errors and satellite issues force you onto the roof, a short elevator ride from your apartment. The Shade also takes advantage of your sketchy neighborhood by routing package deliveries through you, so timed runs to other tenants pull you away from the camera bank repeatedly through the shift.

Leaving your place unlocked invites uninvited guests in, so you input a generated keypad code on return. Survival demands watching both the cameras and your immediate surroundings; managing both is the only way to see the sun rise. Should be a smooth night, right?
