About Heliopedia
Heliopedia is a sandbox about terraforming. You take control of a small solar system and reshape its planets however you like, using a faux-realistic chemistry system to combine elements and turn up unexpected discoveries. Each find is logged in the Heliopedia, an in-game encyclopedia that explains every object you encounter, with a hundred entries waiting to be filled.
A friendly sun sits at the center of your universe and drives the loop. Make discoveries and it hands you new items; feed it favorites like coal or ashes and it spits out a fresh planet to work on. From there you decide what each world becomes, whether ocean planets, grass plains and rainforests across eleven biome types, or wildfires, volcanoes and lightning storms if you would rather watch things burn. The game runs roughly two to three hours and comes from Sokpop, the collective that releases a new game every month.
