Isles of Sea and Sky

Isles of Sea and Sky is an open-world puzzle adventure built around block-pushing Sokoban-style puzzles, but structured non-linearly across a small archipelago. You wash up as a castaway with no memory, and the game gives no quest log — what to solve next is entirely up to you.

Nonlinear progression is the design principle. Stuck on a puzzle? Leave it, wander somewhere else, come back later. New abilities unlocked elsewhere reshape what's solvable, and what looked impossible an hour ago may suddenly be obvious. The world tracks dozens of overlapping puzzle areas at once.

The narrative is delivered entirely through imagery — no text, no dialogue, no UI explanations. The story is a creation myth told through environmental detail and pictogram sequences, and players assemble it themselves.

The art is a retro-inspired pixel style with a meditative ambient soundtrack. Mechanics are entirely directional movement, making the game accessible to most physical abilities, but the puzzle design has the kind of late-game depth that genre veterans dig into for dozens of hours. Star collection adds a completionist layer for players who want to push past the main path.
