Magicka 2

Magicka 2 returns the world's most irreverent co-op action adventure. Players ascend from the ruins of Aldrheim into a Midgard almost wiped free of wizards after the Wizard Wars, where the few survivors have either gone mad or turned extremely hostile. To rid the world of evil once again, up to four wizards and their guide Vlad traverse Midgard armed with the next iteration of the famous Magicka dynamic spellcasting system.

The spellcasting is the heart of it. You combine up to five elements at a time from thousands of possible spells, with the hybrid elements Steam and Ice returning from the first game and the brand-new Poison joining them, all paired with special Magicks, larger explosions and improved graphics. With tons of robes, staffs and weapons, you can play as exactly the wizard you want and experiment for hours figuring out which spells belong in your repertoire.

Full four-player co-op supports every level and mode, with hot join, checkpoints and always-on friendly fire that produces endless emergent comedy as players accidentally hurt or kill their friends. A story-driven campaign set in a lush world heavily influenced by Nordic folklore introduces Artifacts, switches and options that let players customize the experience and add replayability.
